Meredith's Musings...
Welcome back again, my smiley faced emoticons.
What's there to say about recent times? One good thing to note is that it certainly has been flying, which is great, because there's SOOOOOOO much to look forward to in the future. And some things not to. Like Sarah moving. Augh. Everytime I think about it, it hurts a little. We were gonna graduate together and stuff. And now she's going away... one cool thing is, though, her new high school is the same one Kalan Porter attended! We've given her the duty of setting up a small shrine in his honor, since apparently there isn't one already (I couldn't possibly understand why not). She leaves during Easter Break, which puts a bit of a damper on what otherwise will be a brilliantly awesome trip to Toon Town. A few days after returning home, I'll be off to Calgary with Carolyn and we'll be meeting up with Sarah to see STARS ON ICE!!! EEEEEEEEEEEK! And after that, in May, our band trip falls on the same date as the MCR CONCERT!!! Luckily, we're only going to Calgary for the trip, so they're just gonna leave us behind at the mall and we'll watch a movie or something waiting for Carolyn's mom to get into town.
Right now, I'm sitting at home on a school day off, wOOt! But I do have to work tomorrow... sigh. But I just got my haircut, HOORAY! I = sexilicious. Even though it's the same cut as before, it's soooo nice to have my hair not be at that extremely awkward length. It's funny, Kelly my stylist was asking me when I last got it done and I said beginning of Decemeber, she's like "What?!?! You're hair grows really fast." Tell me about it. Anyway, we're looking gooooood now, and Mom's gonna re-do my blonde highlights hopefully. I was gonna get Kelly to do that to, but Mom really didn't do a bad job last time so... we'll hope for the best
Oh yeah, and I meant to write down this quote, courtesy of my wonderful group of people who I talk to on the bus first thing in the morning and last thing before coming home. "We'll be able to engage in pyschological warfare!" "*gasp* you could be a magician!"
And courtesy of my usual trio, "pen pal with benefits."
Also coming up shortly is music festival. I'm playing Handel's Allegro for my solo. It's several steps up from last year, and some intricate fingerings are going to take a good bit of practice before they're perfect. Maybe I'll go do that for a bit... but I wanted today to be perfectly care free. Hmm. I'll just wait 'til after work tomorrow. And sit here listening to The Unicorns and playing random miniclips games! And hope Carolyn comes online so we can "meet" lol.
